Silica Consona introduces the ultra-high tech BOD Incubator, a solid-state heating and cooling incubator controlled by a microprocessor.

• Specifically crafted to facilitate the incubation of Biochemical Oxygen Demand on water and sewage; with the addition of lights and a humidification system, it can serve as an environmental study and growth chamber.

• Applied in a variety of fields, such as microbiology, plant, animal, and food sciences, where low temperature conditions are necessary for experimentation. Used to preserve vaccines, insulin, and other medicines, as well as for micro-organism or activation, efficient enzyme extract storage, and desalting procedures.

Features

Sturdy structure Stainless Steel construction for both the inner and outer chambers.

• Equipped with a long-lasting coaxial blower to force air around the chamber and keep the temperature constant.

• The exterior front double door has a lock and key system, is insulated, and has a magnetic gasket installed for an airtight closure that prevents temperature loss.

• For easy visibility, a door-operated illumination lamp is installed inside the chamber.

• A full view inner acrylic-glass door enables inspection and monitoring of inner chamber specimens.

• High-grade PUF insulation is placed between the inner and outer chambers for prevention of thermal losses.

• An ISI-marked compressor/condensing unit uses a finned tube evaporator located in the air circulation path to provide cooling.

• Using R-134 refrigerant, the unit is free of CFCs.

Parts that provide heat are positioned in the path of air that is properly insulated from the body.

• Heating elements are positioned in the path of air duly insulated from the body.

• Ribs in the inner chamber allow the shelves to be positioned at comfortable heights.

• A control panel with all of the controls located at the top is equipped with an LED display for digital temperature that allows you to select any desired temperature for Set Value (SV) & Process Value (PV).

• Caster Wheel mounted for convenient portability.

• Comes with plug and cord.
